At Excalibu Bow Shop, we stand behind every compound bow, recurve riser, and archery accessory we sell. If your equipment doesn’t meet your expectations, our straightforward returns process ensures you can shop with confidence.
- 15-day return window from delivery date
- Items must be unused and in original packaging
- Customized or special-order items may be non-returnable
- Refunds processed within 3-5 business days after inspection
Eligibility for Returns
To qualify for a return or exchange:
- The item must be in its original condition – unused, unassembled, with all tags and protective packaging intact
- Original proof of purchase is required
- Returns must be initiated within 15 days of delivery
Non-Returnable Items
Due to the specialized nature of archery equipment, certain items cannot be returned:
- Custom-tuned bows (including specific draw weight/length configurations)
- Personalized grips or other customized accessories
- Opened lubrication products (Crossbow Rail Lube, etc.)
- Digital products (downloaded manuals or software)
- Clearance items marked as final sale
Return Process
- Initiate Your Return: Email our customer service team at [email protected] with your order number and reason for return. Use the template below for quick processing.
- Receive Authorization: We’ll respond within 24 hours with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions.
- Package Securely: Repack the item in its original packaging with all included components. Include the RMA number clearly on the outside of the box.
- Ship Your Return: Send to our Gainesville facility using a trackable shipping method. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error.

Refund Timeline & Methods
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Processing Time: 3-5 business days after receipt
- Refund Method: Original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, PayPal)
- Shipping Costs: Non-refundable unless return is due to our error
Note: Credit card refunds may take 1-2 billing cycles to appear on your statement.
Exchanges
For size or model exchanges:
- Follow the standard return process above
- Clearly indicate you’d like an exchange and specify the replacement item
- We’ll process the exchange once the original item is received and inspected
- Any price differences will be charged or refunded accordingly
Defective or Damaged Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item:
- Contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damage
- We’ll arrange for a replacement or repair at no additional cost
- In some cases, we may request return of the defective item for quality control purposes
